When you’re thinking of traveling all by yourself to
another city or country, the number one question that comes into mind is “Is it safe there?” Well, there is really
no such place on Earth that is 100% violence free. But there are countries
where rule of law and good governance is top priority and you would rather go
there than risk your safety traveling to a place where the crime rate is high.
There are many places where you can have a safe travel
and I have compiled at least 10 destinations from all over the world where
there is a low crime rate and your safety and security is paramount. This list
is in no particular order.
Denmark

This Scandinavian nation is one of the safest countries
for a solo traveler. It has a low crime rate where most common complaints are
petty crimes such as pickpockets and snatching. While there are occasional
reports of harassments by drunks, majority of these cases are committed by
migrants and the Danish people are generally peaceful and fun loving.

Sydney is a city in New South Wales, Australia with a
population of more than 4 million people. It is where the 2000 Summer Olympics was held.
There are world famous beaches and attractions you can go to like the Harbour
Bridge and the Opera House.

The Lion City is one of the best destinations in Asia. It
is a little bit pricey to live here unlike in other Asian countries. Singapore
has the reputation for having strict laws, so you just have to be aware of it.
It is also known for its cleanliness.

This island nation southeast of the African continent is
a multi cultural island having been colonized by the Dutch, French and the
British.

One of the dream destination of every traveler is to
visit Iceland and top of the list visitors want to experience is to see the
Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights. This spectacular light phenomenon occurs
in September to April.
Tokyo
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a British company
that provides forecasting and advisory services through research and analysis
listed Tokyo as the number one safest city in the world as of October 2017.
Chile
Chile is one of the safest places in South America and
just like in every country you have been to, there are petty crimes here
associated with alcohol and drugs so just stay alert.

Toronto was listed as the safest city in North America in
2015. It is generally safe to explore the city on your own while taking the
bus. There are cases of racial profiling and discrimination in the workplace
but these are very rare.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong is one of the places in Asia where tourist
arrival surges every year. It is safe to walk and roam around the busy streets
of Hong Kong even at night and transit system is very reliable.

Costa Rica is a Central American country with coastlines
on the Caribbean and the Pacific that is why it is home to a number of finest
beaches. It is generally peaceful with some cases of petty theft targeting
tourists.
