Punta Tierra Blanca Beach Resort

Punta Tierra Blanca

Catanauan, Quezon Province, Philippines

Here is another beach resort in Quezon province  courtesy of traveler friend Myrlo A.

How to get to Punta Tierra Blanca

1. From Starmall in Alabang, take the P&O or A&B bus liner that goes to Lucena, then get off at Lucena Grand Terminal. Bus fare is Php 150.00.

2. From Lucena Grand Terminal, ride a van going to Catanauan. Fare is Php 180.00.
3. When in Catanauan, you have to get off in front of a Jollibee store in the city proper then take a jeepney that goes to Gumaca.
4. Tell jeepney driver to drop you off at San Isidro Elementary School then take tricycle that will bring you to Gatasan where the entrance of the resort is located. Jeep fare is Php 20.00 and trike fare is Php40.00.

Entrance fee to the resort is Php200.00 per person and additional Php 150.00 if you want to use the swiimming pool. For cottages, rental starts at Php 1000.00 up to Php 6500.00.

The place may be far from Manila but it is still a good alternative if you want to avoid overcrowded beaches especially this summer season in the Philippines. It is also a way to promote tourism in Quezon province and to know more what else is in store for us travelers to find out the beauty within Quezon Province.

  1. Never going back to this resort again. The accommodation that we stayed at was crap nothing like the ones on their FB page. The toilet very basic no toilet seat. The room that they called extension is just like a servants quarter. It has double deck bed the upper part creeks whenever my son goes up. The owner made us pay entrance fee
when it's clearly said day rate/overnight. We stayed there for 3nights so that's an accommodation. Lots of hidden charges when you checked out so make sure you ask them first what is included on the price. The beach is not nice near the resort full of jelly fish around the area that's why they have nets. The only thing positive was the island hopping. Very expensive for the type of accommodations that they have. I am not going to recommend this place at all.
